Sam Ekizian

Sam Ekizian is an experienced California attorney who has practiced law since 1999. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law, graduating summa cum laude and as the valedictorian of his class.

In addition to representing clients, Sam serves as a Senior Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of West Los Angeles, where he has taught legal writing, jurisprudence, and other law-related courses for more than 16 years. His experience as both an attorney and educator allows him to approach complex legal matters with careful analysis, clear communication, and a strong understanding of the law.

Sam is an active member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He brings extensive state and federal court experience to his representation of individuals, families, and businesses.

Tamar A. Ekizian

Tamar A. Ekizian is an experienced California attorney who has practiced law since 2002. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge, before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law, where she received special recognition for her studies in wills and trusts.

Tamar focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, entity formation, tax preparation, wills, and trusts. She assists clients with the preparation of living trusts, special needs trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and other essential planning documents. Her accounting background also allows her to provide knowledgeable assistance with individual, fiduciary, nonprofit, and business entity tax returns.

Before beginning her legal career, Tamar volunteered for four years with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, preparing tax returns for elderly and low-income individuals. 

She later became a partner at Kreger & Ekizian, LLP, where she worked alongside respected tax and estate planning attorney Melvin Kreger. Today, she continues the firm’s family-centered tradition with her husband, attorney Sam Ekizian, and their son, attorney Aren Ekizian, a 2024 graduate of Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law.

Tamar is an active member of the legal community and is admitted to practice before California state courts, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Tax Court.
